The house on angela lane

ch1)family
Growing up I always had my mom and dad. When I was 5 we moved to dover from johnstown. I still like johnstown more than york. when I was 11 we moved to Jacobus. When I was 13 we moved to Redlion. I don’t really like the town of Redlion. I like East york and downtown york. I want to live in one of those studio apartments across from the Revolution stadium. I could be walking distance from all of my Favorite places. I could listen to the cars downtown. Even better I’d like to live in and Apartment in downtown lancaster or Mechanicsburg. It would be even better if I could live Somewhere bigger. I’d like to live in a big city. southstreet in Philielphia Is one of the most amazing places I’ve ever been. New York City is one of my favorite places in the world. newyork in the fall is amazing and so is the winter. I love fall Flavors like pumpkin pie, apple cider and candycorn. I wish I had an apartment in a city. A big open room with a loft that over hangs half the room with spiral stairs going up. It could have big windows overlooking a bright, noisey, energetic city. Sadly, my home is none of these things. I live in the suburbs. My neighborhood is a bunch of bright and annoyingly cheerful business people. all of my neighbors are married and have kids. I have the youngest parents and I am the oldest kid. while all of the other families have minivans. My mom drives a Lexus. My dad drives a saturn. My pickup truck is a chevy silverado. I call it “ Blue dazzle” because it’s bright blue. I love my truck. I wish I drove an electric octopus.
ch2)My Lair.
My room is the center of all of my oddness. The walls are purple and burgundy. Two bright colored masks hang on either side of my big bookcase. In my bookcase I have books. I have a lot of books. Most of them are Fairytales. some of them are about art. Some of them are about film. my top two shelves have nothing but fairies. I collect fairies. they make me happy.
My bed sits up high and has drawers underneath it and the headboard is more bookshelves. I set things on top of it. It has 4 of my colorguard tropies. It also has those 2nd place medals that I got against myself. In between my trophies resides my happy box. My happy box always has random things in it usually goodies. I always have stok and little creamers that I steal from rutters and sheetz. I also buy izze from borders and stalk up. My happy box is also the residence of all of my happymeal toys. this one time, My friend got me this birthday card that was a cucumber. She had a bunch of random people sign it and gave it to me. It wasn’t my birthday. It made me smile.

ch3)My places of joy and merriment
When I don’t have band afterschool I love to go downtown. I never ever leave Market street or Beaver street. There are creepers downtown sometimes. One time this scary guy asked me if I needed a ride when I was walking back to my car because I forgot my wallet. then he saw me again walking towards the York Coffee Company.

service hours

1)On April 18, 2009, I went to the westmanchester mall to participate in chalk it up. Chalk it up is an art contest by york arts. It's a day where students from different highschools gather to make chalk murals to be hung and displayed to the public.this is through the organization called yorkarts which is dedicated to spreading art throughout york city. this is especially for those who can't afford luxuries like art. i've always loved yorkarts.
2)Art class has definately helped with this experience. I've worked with yorkarts for many other things before so that helped. I've done chalk it up before. I knew some of what to expect but this year was much better. all of the drawing I'd done previously helped!
3)People benefited because the proceeds from this contest went to fund art programs. This also spread art throughout the mall for people to see. Spreading art is very important in the world today because people don't take the time to enjoy it.Yorkarts helps people take the time to look at art. We helped spread art awareness.
4)This influenced my spiritual life in many ways. We interacted with many kids from other schools. I hated redlion school district for no apparent reason until I met some amazing art students from redlion. We learned a lot at chalk it up. Even though we were all competing agains each other. we still had to interact and be nice to each other. Just like how we all want to make it to heaven. Everyone there wanted to win. So we realized we wern't all that different and made some good friends. I'll be going back next year!

Nature and I have never gotten along. I tend to hide in my room all summer long and only go out to enjoy nature when forced. The only place that is an exception is the creek by my house. The creek is probably one of the only places in the world that has some sentimental value to me. There has never been a place other than the creek that symbolizes a time in my life that was perfect. If I could go back in time I would want to go back and freeze it to stay forever at the creek the first time I went there.
The day I went to the creek was the day after my 15th birthday my freshman year at York Catholic. I went to the creek September 17th 2007. This day was not only the fist day I'd ever had any real encounters with nature but It was also the only good experience that I've ever had with nature. This would also be a day every girl in high school would dream of. It was the day I had my first real kiss.

The Creek is a few yards away from a road that leads to my neighborhood. In the winter, the creek can be seen perfectly from the road. In mid september, the creek is one of the most beautiful places In the world. The leaves and bushes hide it perfectly. There are 3 entrances to this creek. The first, is how we got to the creek on September 17th. That is the entrance you use by walking through a cornfield. This is probably the most pleasant way to get in and out of the creek. The second way to get in and out of The Creek is by walking through briars and thorns. I learned the hard way to never wear a skirt to the creek. The last way to get to and from the creek is by simply trudging through the water and walking to the road. This is the coldest way to get to and from the creek. This is the best way to my belief. If it wasn't for this entrance to the creek I never would've had my first kiss.

"no man is an island" is a metaphor used by John Dunnn in "Meditation 17." this still exists today.

Everything changed when my cousin, Shannon died in 2007. My Aunt Barb had lost her only daughter. It took a huge toll on her. Not only did she have to deal with the loss of her daughter, but she also had to be there to take care of Shannon's two kids. My Aunt barB began to feel like an island. My mom and I began spending more and more weekends with her. She always seemed better when there were more people there with her. The other two people who were a big help were my cousins Staci and Maggie. After shannon died, Maggie moved in with my Aunt Barb. Maggie originally lived in Maryland and she had been wanting to movie back to my Aunt Barb's area for a while and she'd made the descision a few days after Shannon died. More and more relatives were there to help Aunt Barb and make her realize she's not alone. My aunt Barb was the last person in the world to deserve what happened. It was very hard to think of what I could do or say to console her. My Aunt Barb had a great support group, an enormous, loving family. I doubt she's "over" the fact that he daughter died. I know I'm not. I think she's better. My aunt barb was definately not an island. A lot of people in my family felt the same things that She felt. We had to get through it together. I think it would've been impossible for my Aunt barb if it wasn't for my cousins.

In conclusion, no man is an Island . When something tragic happens we cannot be expected to get through it on our own.

Brutus is the hero of Julius Caesar in the play's action and language. Antony is a cunning avenger who turned into a power hungry villain. Brutus is very honorable and did what he thought was right.

Brutus is the hero in terms of the plays action in many ways. Brutus put Rome before everything else in his life. Brutus only killed Caesar for the good of Rome.  Caesar was too proud. Brutus quickly gained the love of the plebleians honestly unlike mark antony who manipulated them.Brutus is just a very honroable man. He made mistakes in judging Mark antony but that was his main weakness. Brutus also made the choice to kill Caesar by cassius. Everything Brutus did was done because he thought it was right.

Brutus is the hero of the play in terms of its language for one main reason
the line in act three scene 2 ... Brutus did it for the good of rome and everythingh e did was trome. Cassius did not do what he did for rome . Mark antony didn't do anything for rome he did everything for himself and noone else . Brutus was the only one who truely cared about rome

in conclusion, Brutus is the hero of Caesar because he is the most noble man in rome. He ended his life very sadly. Brutus did realize that what he did was not the best way he should've done things. In the end  brutus really cared about his country

Unacceptable Model of Origins. The Big Bang Theory is the accepted source of Origins among the majority of Evolutionists, and is taught in our public schools. However, the Big Bang does not explain many things, including the uneven distribution of matter that results in "voids" and "clumps," or the retrograde motion that must violate the Law of Conservation of Angular Momentum. Furthermore, the Big Bang does not address the primary question at hand, "where did everything come from?" Did nothing explode? How did this explosion cause order, while every explosion observed in recorded history causes disorder and disarray?

http://www.collegeresearch.us/show_essay/10809.html

However, creationists reject all of this. According to creationism, humans sprouted fully-formed in our current state, as did all animal "kinds" (a term which creationists use instead of "species", but which is curiously undefined). In an attempt to co-opt the language of science (if not its methods), they even call it "Creation Theory", even though a scientific theory should allow one to derive specific predictions from a defined mechanism: something which is impossible for "Creation Theory".
Of course, none of this is a problem for creationism because it is not (despite its claims to the contrary) a scientific movement. It is a religiously motivated political movement, which is why they publish all of their "research" directly to the general public rather than letting other scientists subject it to peer review. Unfortunately, there are many kinds of arguments which are far more convincing to someone who struggled with grade 11 chemistry than someone who actually studied science at the university level, which is why creationism enjoys more than 50% support from the American public while languishing at less than 1% among scientists.

Stuart Davis was born in 1894 in Philidelphia. His father was the art editor of the Philidelphia press. When  he was a little bit older his family moved to New Jersey. Later in his life he ended up leaving school to go to an art academy in New York City. He started out with watercolors and then began experimenting with collage, which was relatively new at the time.  HIs collages were thought to be an early form of Pop art. He also enjoyed Cubisim, which was also a relatively new tecnique at the time. Stuart davis was one of the first artists to appreciate jazz. He used the bright colors like pinks and oranges and yellows to make his shapes appear to be dancing and to show jazzy rhythms. His last paintings of his life were mainly abstract words and symbols.

Stuart Davis's style was immediately eye catching. I love his busy and crazy style. It definately shows how fast paced the world is today. He experimented with many unique styles that show his uniqueness. I  lovethe random words in his paintings and the very straight edge shapes all over the place. Stuart davis definately accomplished showing the rambunctiousness of the world we live in. He show's the enviornment of "American Life" which definately is vibrant and colorful rather than just flowery meadows or parks. his paintings are also supposed to show some sense of reality even though they are abstract. I think that is hard to see  but
in the mellow pad, I have no idea why it's called the mellow pad but I love it. There's nothing mellow about it. It's crazy it shows very outstanding shape. I can identify every single shape in it. I think some of the colors and shapes could represent buildings and grafitti to show the reality of it Im not sure. even though it was painted in the 1940s it still could relate to the city today
