Brutus is the hero of Julius Caesar in the play's action and language. Antony is a cunning avenger who turned into a power hungry villain. Brutus is very honorable and did what he thought was right.

Brutus is the hero in terms of the plays action in many ways. Brutus put Rome before everything else in his life. Brutus only killed Caesar for the good of Rome.  Caesar was too proud. Brutus quickly gained the love of the plebleians honestly unlike mark antony who manipulated them.Brutus is just a very honroable man. He made mistakes in judging Mark antony but that was his main weakness. Brutus also made the choice to kill Caesar by cassius. Everything Brutus did was done because he thought it was right.

Brutus is the hero of the play in terms of its language for one main reason 

the line in act three scene 2 ... Brutus did it for the good of rome and everythingh e did was trome. Cassius did not do what he did for rome . Mark antony didn't do anything for rome he did everything for himself and noone else . Brutus was the only one who truely cared about rome

in conclusion, Brutus is the hero of Caesar because he is the most noble man in rome. He ended his life very sadly. Brutus did realize that what he did was not the best way he should've done things. In the end  brutus really cared about his country
